Brian Revell

Brian is the founder and owner of SunVolt Electric. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Appropriate Technology, is a licensed electrician in North Carolina (Unlimited) and Tennessee (Limited), and is a certified NABCEP Professional PV Installer.

Ryan Dalton

Ryan studied Appropriate Technology at Appalachian State and brings a wealth of experience to the team. He worked with a solar contractor in Asheville for several years before returning to Boone to work with SunVolt. After work, he’s a wizard on the basketball court. Make sure to ask him about the “Tooler.”

George Lewis

George has an undergrad degree in engineering from Virginia Tech, is working on his graduate degree in Appropriate Technology at Appalachian State, and holds his NABCP PV Associate credential. He lives off-grid near Boone and is excited about homesteading after graduating.

Luke Kimbrough

Luke came to SunVolt with a lot of experience working in the solar industry in Raleigh, NC. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelors degree in Appropriate Technology, is an licensed electrician in North Carolina, and is a certified NABCEP Professional PV Installer. Before coming to SunVolt he had a career as a rescue swimmer with the US Navy.

Joel Camper

Joel graduated from Appalachian State with a degree in Sustainable Development and a minor in Appropriate Technology. He holds his NABCEP PV Associate credential. When he’s not wiring, he can be found reading books on mental math, and eating coconut flavored snacks.

Micah Bradford

Micah has been working with SunVolt for several years after years of experience as a carpenter, with the US Navy, as a missionary, and an in the outdoor field. When he’s not wiring, he’s cranking out amazing woodworking projects.

Zach Sprau

Zach has a graduate degree from Appalachian State in Appropriate Technology and is a certified NABCEP Professional PV Installer. He has worked in several locations around the world doing relief and development work, most recently as the Solar PM for Samaritan’s Purse International Relief in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria.
