International Relief and Development Solar Applications for which sunvolt can consult:

Off-grid well-pump system installed in Western, NC that could be customized for any water pumping needs in remote and harsh environments. This one happens to use battery storage, but we can also design systems for tank storage with a float switch, or a variety of other setups to best fit your needs.
12.96kW PV system on the Hospitality House in Boone, NC in partnership with the United Solar Initiative (www.unitedsolarinitiative.org). This system enables the Hospitality House to help 12 additional people each month because of the savings it achieves.
One of 104 off-grid systems in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria managed by one of our staff members. SunVolt provided technical advice for the project that was implemented by Samaritan’s Purse International Relief. These systems targeted elderly people in rural areas affected by the destruction of Puerto Rico’s electrical grid who needed refrigeration for medicines and food security, as well as nebulizers for asthma.
